As we enter another week of Level Two Restrictions in Christchurch, it is interesting to watch the daffodils flowering and the birds singing their merry songs - the same as they always do come Spring.
It gives us hope that we will weather the Covid and our lives shall once more have some degree of normality. It is all in the attitude we collectively have.
As disastrous as Covid has been for the world, it pays to remember that there have been other disasters and we have survived them in conditions both better and worse than those we now find ourselves in.
