Geoff Penny
Director & Chartered Accountant
Originally from Otago, Geoff attended Lincoln University and gained a Bachelor of Commerce & Management (BCM) degree which was the beginning of a career spanning more than twenty years in the Chartered Accounting industry.
Geoff honed his professional skills at other accounting firms before taking over as director of Hornby Accounting. His expertise covers (but is not limited to) business analysis & insights, business advisory services across all sectors (including high net worth individuals), management accounting, cash flow forecasting, taxation, investing, trust and estate accounting.

Geoff is a member of the Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand having gained full accreditation in 2005.

John Turnbull
Chartered Accountant
John loves accounting and has had a successful career as a Chartered Accountant for over 40 years. However now he is mostly retired and just looks after some special clients.
Sue Magson-Payne
Office Manager
Sue is our new office manager and is responsible for the smooth running of the office and keeping the accountants in line. She also does some accounting work herself, like GST Returns.
Susan Foyle
Chartered Accountant
Susan is a qualified Chartered Accountant with a wide range of skills and amazing Tax knowledge. Her insights and knowledge are an invaluable bonus to Hornby Accounting.
Tracy Woodfield
Chartered Accountant
Tracy is a fully qualified Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in all areas of accountancy except for audit. She also has a fascination with company law, tax law and cash-flow budgets.
Dimple Lal
Accounting Technician
Dimple is a highly skilled Accountant who likes working with small businesses. She is a fountain of knowledge as well as also being a member of the Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand (CA ANZ).
