It is with much sadness we say

farewell to Gail Barnett.

She has been our Office Manager for ten years now  but she has decided

that a life of leisure beckons her. She retired at the end of March and

we wish her all the best for a long happy retirement.

She will be  missed.

Sue Magson-Payne to Hornby Accounting

OLD NEWS

​

• Our new office at 5 Goulding Avenue is open, although the signage hasn't yet changed.  There will be pictures on the website shortly showing you that not only are we great accountants but we can do our own office shift (lol).
   

• In the world of Inland Revenue and Government, there are a few changes.  They affect  employers and residential rental property owners among the many.  

  • For employers - the minimum rate will go up to $20 on 1st April.​    The hours an employee works per pay period must not be paid at less than $20 per hour  (unless there is a time-in-lieu system in place).

  • Residential landlords - there is a lot of new legislation and requirements that have been put in place. And there are penalties for failing to comply.
